The Baking Yolk
The Baking Yolk is a small home business providing home baked desserts for events. The yolk, in most dishes, is the best part of an egg. Our signature ‘yolked’ macarons are what makes us different. Every macaron is filled with a ring of flavoured buttercream and a jam/ganache center.
The name “Yolk” was suggested by Adele’s brother who was inspired by her Chinese name, “Yoke”. Her school mates used to tease her and call her an egg yolk and now she has turned it into a brand with an identity. With that as an inspiration, The Baking Yolk mainly sells macarons with fillings that look like sunny side up eggs.
